Favourite films: Bergman's 'Fannie and Alexander' (the 6 hour version), The Ugly Bug Ball starring Burl Ives
Favourite TV: I don't have a TV because whenever I've had one in the past I've ended up watching rubbish and losing a life. I love watching live international rugby, though, so I go to the pub for that - and don't have to shout and scream on my own.
Favourite music: I've never really grown out of The Soft Machine who blew me away when I was 17.  For something more mellow, I go for Tindersticks.
Favourite food:  Buttered toast and marmalade with a huge mug of fresh coffee and a Western Mail Sudoku
About me:  Born in Pontypool. Used to: live with ex-prisoners, love playing cricket, teach English, make fitted kitchens, milk my own cow, run a youth theatre. Now: I'm past 50 and feeling a bit weird about it, have a live-out girlfriend, am childless and proud of it, love looking out of my window in St Thomas across Swansea Bay to Mumbles every day, and want for nothing. Next up: eat less, walk more, generate my own renewable energy.
