welcome inn03.11.07 - The Welcome Inn is now under new ownership. They are offering very good deals on family meals and are taking bookings now for Christmas and New Years. Keep an eye on this site as we will be working with them to establish their own web space complete with photos, info and menus.

post office cash machine30.10.07 - Clase Post Office now has a beautiful cash machine and the best thing of all is that there is no charge for withdrawls, thats right its completely FREE to get cash out! Please note though that it is only accessible when the post office is open as the shutters cover it out of hours.
Lead Field guided tour10.09.07 - Councillor Val Lloyd, Pupils and teachers from Tirdeunaw School, Debbie Herbert, Llinos Hughes and Darren Thomas received a guided walk around The Lead Field by Clase & Caemawr Environment Group. They were shown the many interesting features of the field including the pond, ancient well and the bomb crater.
Caemawr Pod24/08/08 - Gorseinon College and Antic Corporation, Swansea’s professional theatre company recently ran a seven day programme of performing arts activities for young people between the ages of 11-19. This years theme was "First Times" and four residents of Clase and Caemawr took part: Fallon Lewis, Hannah Grey, Toni Vandenburg and Jordan Cummings, they learned new skills in drama, dance, singing and video. On the last night there was a performance where they all explored different 'first time' experiences. Well done to our local film stars of the future! To learn more about Antic click here.
shop renovation21/08/08 - The end shop on Rheidol Avenue is currently being renovated and will soon be the home of Perfection Hair Design. The salon is due to open on September 10th, If you would like more information or to book an appointment contact Carly Williams on 07772775178.

21/08/08 - One of the five Morriston Councillors (John Davies, Robert Davies, Mike Hedges, Bob Lloyd and Rob Caemawr PodStewart) will be present at Caemawr Pod to hold a surgery on the following dates: 24th September, 22nd October and 26th November from 18:00 - 18:30. Pop along and ask for advice on a variety of issues; some that they tend to deal with at other surgeries are anti social behaviour (which we pass on to the police), housing issues (repairs and applications), cleansing, requests for rubbish bins, roads/pavements , missing road nameplates etc...

16/08/08 - Nine excercise equipment stations are to be installed in Morriston Park by the end of the summer, it is part of the Life Trail scheme and you can read more about it on the council website here.
25/07/07 - Funding has been applied for to provide the community with a singing group for the youth.
